Danielle, Danny , baby Lucas and ‘Cooper’ the dog…
What an amazing day of capturing family memories accompanied by my lovely & passionate friend & assistant ‘Jodie’ .
Danielle & Dan booked me around 18 months ago to capture their fabulous wedding at Dunstall Hall this coming June 2012 and in the meantime little ‘Lucas’ made an appearance so they asked me to capture some family shots before the wedding….Which I happily accepted 🙂
We arrived at the house 12.00 pm to find little Lucas tucking into his mid day bottle, Danielle is such a chilled out relaxed mum and it’s evident that this little bundle is the centre of hers and Dan’s world right now. Lots of couples will tell you that they never realised how having a baby could completely change their lives…this little bundle comes along and turns your whole world upside down in the loveliest way possible. Dan was a lovely doting daddy even though his little bundle of joy decided to piddle on him 3 times during the shoot ha ha!
Take a little journey with us of their shoot…we hope that the images speak for themselves. Along the way there are some very sentimental items: Lucas was born 11 weeks early & sadly Danielle’s nan passed away on that very same day, so very sad! She was very close go her nan so you can imagine the mixed emotions she would have been feeling so the silver engraved bangle is in memory of her nan <3 . The boots ahhh well daddy plays football for a living so I felt it important to show this and the contrast between the softness of babies skin and the great big rugged footy boots featuring ‘Lucas’s’ name embroidered on them. The wedding rings well that is their next chapter so we will just have to wait a little while for the next instalment.
